Commit is $412k across 9 deals, best case $688k. Three things look wrong: two deals in Negotiation with no next step for 30 days, one $85k deal closing Friday whose close date hasn't moved since June, and Sam has four deals at Proposal with no proposal attached.

The close date change needs your 👍 since it writes to HubSpot. The nudges to Sam and Dan are drafted in Slack for your yes, one line each with the deal named.

Done. Close date moved to Jan 15, both nudges sent, the sheet updated. I'll re-run the roll-up at 4:55 so you walk in with the latest.

The short answer

What is an AI RevOps analyst?

An AI RevOps analyst is an agent that keeps the revenue data clean enough to trust: it audits the pipeline for missing fields, stale close dates and deals in the wrong stage, rolls up the forecast by rep and segment, builds the dashboards as spreadsheets your team can open, and fixes the data once you approve each change. Cicada's does that from Slack, WhatsApp, iMessage or email, reads HubSpot or Salesforce directly, runs the audit on a schedule, and writes to the CRM only with your yes, one change at a time or in a batch you've seen.

What it does

What your AI RevOps analyst does.

01

Audits pipeline hygiene

Every deal with no next step, a close date in the past, no amount, no contact, or no activity in 30 days, from HubSpot or Salesforce, as a list by rep with the fix suggested.

02

Rolls up the forecast

Commit, best case and pipeline by rep, segment and month, in a sheet that matches how your team calls it, refreshed before every forecast meeting.

03

Catches stage mismatches

A deal at Proposal with no proposal, at Negotiation with no next step, at Closed Won with no amount. Named, with the rep, before the number goes to the board.

04

Builds dashboards as spreadsheets

Pipeline coverage, win rate by segment, cycle length, rep attainment: a Google Sheet or Excel file with the charts in, in your branding, that updates on the schedule you set.

05

Fixes the data with your yes

A batch of close dates, owners or stages to change, shown to you first. Approve the lot or one by one; it writes to the CRM only after that.

06

Reports on a clock

Monday at 8: the hygiene score by rep, the deals that moved, the forecast delta since last week, and the three things to fix, as a message and a sheet.

Who it's for

Who hires an AI RevOps analyst.

RevOps leads

The audit done before Monday

Hygiene, mismatches and the roll-up in a sheet before the forecast call, so you spend the meeting on the deals.

Sales leaders

A forecast you can defend

Every commit deal checked for a next step, a date and an amount, with the reps nudged by the analyst, not by you.

Founders

RevOps before a RevOps hire

A clean CRM, a weekly roll-up and a coverage dashboard, from a sentence.

Finance

Pipeline numbers that reconcile

Closed won against Stripe or QuickBooks every week, the mismatches named.

CRM admins

Data fixes in batches you've seen

Stale dates and missing owners found weekly and changed only after your approval, with every change on the record.

Sales managers

One-on-ones with the facts

Each rep's hygiene, cycle length and stuck deals in a one-pager before the meeting.

Setup

Set up in three steps.

  1. Say what the job is

Describe the role in a sentence when you sign up, or tell the agent in the chat. It writes its own brief, which you can read and change any time.

  2. Connect the apps it needs

One click for most apps. Each one can be Full, Ask first or Read-only, for every agent in the workspace.

  3. Link your phone, or don't

Scan a code and it's in your iMessage or WhatsApp. Or keep it in the app, Slack and email. Hand it the first job in the same message.

Control

Nothing goes out without your yes.

Nothing goes out without your yes

Anything that can't be undone, and any message to another person, waits for your OK. Approve with a 👍 in the chat, or set a role to full autonomy once you trust it.

Read-only is a real lock

Make any app read-only and the agent can look but never change a thing. It applies to every agent in the workspace, from their next run.

Every step on the record

Each run shows what it read, what it did and what it sent, step by step, in the Activity tab. Corrections you make stick.

What it won't do.

Won't pretend

If it couldn't confirm something, it leaves it out and says so. A number without a source doesn't go in a message.

Won't go around you

It never messages anyone on your behalf unless you asked, never spends money, and never makes a judgement call about money on its own.

Won't read what isn't shared

Teammates' agents work only through the apps the workspace shares. Your inbox and your personal apps stay under your own login.

Things to ask your AI RevOps analyst.

  1. 01

"Audit the pipeline: no next step, close date in the past, no amount, no activity in 30 days. By rep."

You get: A sheet of every deal that fails a check, grouped by rep, with the suggested fix, and a message with the totals.

  2. 02

"Roll up commit and best case by rep for Q4 and compare to last week's call."

You get: A sheet by rep and stage with the delta since last week, and the deals that moved in or out of commit named.

  3. 03

"Which deals at Negotiation have no proposal attached or no next step? Draft a one-line nudge to each owner."

You get: The list with the rep and the gap, and a Slack nudge per rep drafted for your yes.

  4. 04

"Move every close date that's in the past to the last day of next month. Show me the list first."

You get: The batch as a sheet for your check; after your 👍 the dates change in the CRM, one change per row on the record.

  5. 05

"Every Monday at 8 send me the hygiene score by rep, the forecast delta and the three things to fix."

You get: A message and a sheet on the minute, from the CRM, with last week's numbers next to this week's.

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

Where do I talk to it?

Slack, WhatsApp, iMessage, email or the web app. Link your phone with a code at sign-up and it answers in the same thread. In a channel it stays quiet until someone names it.

Will it change CRM data on its own?

No. Every write to HubSpot or Salesforce waits for your yes, shown as a list first. Set the CRM to Ask first and each change is approved one by one, or make it read-only and it only reports what to change.

Which CRMs does it read?

HubSpot and Salesforce directly, and most others through their connected app. It reads deals, stages, amounts, dates, owners and activity, and reconciles closed won against Stripe or QuickBooks when you connect them.

What do the dashboards look like?

Google Sheets or Excel files in your branding with the charts in, shared as permanent links. Re-run the job and the same link shows the new numbers. Nothing to learn, nothing to license.

Can it nudge the reps for me?

Yes. It drafts a one-line Slack message per rep with the deal and the gap named, and sends them after your yes. It never messages a rep without that.

What won't it do?

It won't write to the CRM without your yes, won't change an amount or a stage it can't justify from the record, won't state a forecast number it couldn't compute from the data, and won't message anyone on its own.

Does it learn how our team forecasts?

Yes. It keeps a memory of your stages, your definitions and your rules, which you can read and edit in the app. Tell it "commit means a signed order form" once and that sticks.

Can the team use it?

Yes. Every manager gets their own agent on their own team's pipeline; the CRM is connected once for the workspace. A coordinator can split a big audit between specialists and send you one answer.

What does it cost?

Every workspace starts with 300 free credits. You add a card at sign-up and nothing is charged until you run low; then it's $25 for 200 credits, with no subscription. A quick reply is about 5 credits and a typical run under 20; plans start at $99 a month.
