Reclaim vs Cicada
Reclaim is an AI calendar assistant from Dropbox: it finds time for focus, habits, tasks and meetings across Google and Outlook calendars and keeps re-arranging it. Cicada does the work in those blocks: agents for every person on your team, in iMessage, WhatsApp, Slack and email, across your apps and in your meetings.
Pick Cicada if you want agents that do the work around your calendar: in your texts and group chats, across 1,000+ apps, and in your meetings. Pick Reclaim if you want your calendar arranged for you, continuously: focus time, habits, buffers and meetings.
What Cicada does that Reclaim doesn't.
It does the work in the block
Reclaim protects two hours on Thursday for the client proposal. Cicada works on it: it reads the inbox for the brief, pulls the figures from your apps, updates the CRM and chases the reply that's holding it up, across 1,000+ apps. Reclaim works on your calendar.
It joins the call
Cicada joins your Meet, Zoom, Teams and Webex calls and texts you the decisions and actions when it ends, with the transcript kept. Reclaim schedules your meetings and protects the time around them, but doesn't join or record them.
Text it from anywhere
Ask Cicada from iMessage or WhatsApp to move Thursday's call, send it a photo of an event flyer to put in your calendar, or mention it in Slack, and it answers in the same thread. Reclaim lives in its web app, your calendar and Slack.
It chases what people promised
In a WhatsApp or iMessage group, when someone promises the signed lease by Thursday, Cicada reminds them in the group if it doesn't arrive, then tells you or emails them. Reclaim arranges your own time, not other people's promises.

A team of agents for a team of people.
Reclaim gives each person an assistant for their calendar, with team scheduling links and delegated access. Cicada's agents work as a team across your apps.
Agents for every person
Each person in your workspace gets their own agents. The apps the team shares are connected once; personal ones, like your inbox, stay under your own login.
A coordinator and specialists
A big job is split between specialists that work at the same time, and you get one answer back from the agent you asked.
Agents that work together
Teammates' agents know what each other covers, use each other's fresh figures and check with each other through the apps you share, never through anyone's private notes. Ask yours to message someone who uses Cicada, at your company or another, and their answer comes back to you.
Know-how the whole team shares
What one agent learns about the business, every agent in the workspace knows, and a skill one agent proves is shared with the rest.

The calendar, or the work
Reclaim is built around your calendar: it finds the time for focus, habits, tasks and meetings and keeps re-arranging it as the week moves. Cicada does the work that fills those blocks: it reads the inbox, preps the brief, updates the CRM, chases the reply and books the meeting when you ask.
In your messages
Cicada answers on iMessage and WhatsApp, in group chats when someone names it, in Slack channels and DMs, and by email, in the thread it was asked in. Reclaim lives in its web app, your calendar and Slack.
It joins the call
Cicada joins your Meet, Zoom, Teams and Webex calls as a notetaker and texts you the decisions and actions when the call ends. Reclaim schedules your meetings and protects the time around them, but doesn't join or record them.
Where Cicada is stronger
- Every person on the team gets their own agents, and they work together.
- Works across your inbox, CRM, docs, stores and 1,000+ apps, not only the calendar.
- You text it on iMessage or WhatsApp, including in group chats.
- A notetaker that joins your meetings and texts you the notes.
- Its own browser for sites with no app, which you can watch and take over.
- What one agent learns about the business, every agent in the workspace knows.
Choose Cicada if you want agents that do the work around your calendar, in your texts, group chats and apps, and in your meetings.
Where Reclaim fits
- Continuous auto-scheduling of focus time, habits, tasks and buffers across Google and Outlook.
- Team and round-robin scheduling links, and delegated access for assistants.
- A free plan for one person.
Reclaim may suit you if you want your calendar arranged for you: focus time, habits and meetings, continuously.
Or use both. They work well together: Reclaim keeps the calendar arranged, and Cicada does the work in the blocks it protects.
Reclaim vs Cicada, answered.
Is Cicada a Reclaim alternative?
For more than the calendar, yes. Reclaim arranges your calendar; Cicada gives every person on a team agents that do the work across their apps and messages, and join their meetings. Many people can use both.
Does Cicada auto-schedule my calendar like Reclaim?
No. Cicada books, moves and declines meetings when you ask and protects focus time you set, but it doesn't continuously re-arrange your calendar the way Reclaim does.
Does Reclaim join meetings?
No. It schedules them and attaches links, and its Gong integration says it doesn't access recordings. Cicada joins Meet, Zoom, Teams and Webex and texts you the notes.
Does either train on my data?
Reclaim's privacy policy says it doesn't train generative AI on your personal data without consent. Cicada doesn't use your workspace content to train models.
