Cicada vs Grok Bot
Cicada's agents work across your whole team: they live in your messages, connect to your apps directly, check with each other and make phone calls. Grok Bot, from SpaceXAI and Cursor, gives you always-on bots on a shared cloud computer, reached through its own apps and on X.
Cicada's agents work across your whole team and your apps: every person gets agents, they work together, and they act through 1,000+ app connections with a permission on each, from iMessage, WhatsApp and Slack, on the phone and in meetings. Grok Bot gives one person bots on a shared cloud computer, in its own apps and on X.
A team of agents for a team of people.
Grok Bot gives one person several bots on a shared cloud computer. Cicada's agents work across your whole team.
Agents for every person
Each person in your workspace gets their own agents. The apps the team shares are connected once; personal ones, like your inbox, stay under your own login.
A coordinator and specialists
A big job is split between specialists that work at the same time, and you get one answer back from the agent you asked.
Agents that work together
Teammates' agents know what each other covers, use each other's fresh figures and check with each other through the apps you share, never through anyone's private notes.
Know-how the whole team shares
What one agent learns about the business, every agent in the workspace knows, and a skill one agent proves is shared with the rest.

A computer of its own, or your apps
Grok Bot's bots do most things the way a person would, on a cloud computer: browsing, signing in, using desktop software, even learning a task from a recording. Cicada mostly works through direct connections to your apps, each with a permission you set (Full, Ask first or Read-only), and uses its own browser with logins from your vault where there's no app.
Where you reach it
Grok Bot lives in its own apps and on X, with Slack for team plans. Cicada lives in the messages you already use: you text it on iMessage or WhatsApp, add it to a group chat, or mention it in Slack, and it answers in the same thread.
Calls and meetings
Cicada calls people for you in a natural voice and texts you the outcome, and it joins your calls as a notetaker. Neither is in Grok Bot's documentation today.
