An AI content writer in your brand's voice.
Send it a few pieces you like and a topic, and it drafts the blog post, the newsletter or the case study as a document. It drafts; a person publishes.

What is an AI content writer?
An AI content writer is an agent that drafts the written content a marketing team publishes: blog posts, newsletters, case studies and landing page copy. Cicada's learns your voice from the examples you give it, researches the topic on the web, reads your notes and call transcripts, and delivers each draft as a document you can edit and share. It can sit in on a customer call as a notetaker and turn it into a case study draft. It writes; a person reviews and publishes, unless you tell it otherwise.
What your AI content writer does.
Drafts blog posts
Researches the topic on the web, reads what you've published before, outlines, then writes the post with headings, sources and two title options. Delivered as a Google Doc.
Writes the newsletter
Pulls the month's launches, posts and news from your Slack, Notion and site into a draft newsletter, ready for your edit.
Turns calls into case studies
Joins the customer call as a notetaker, or reads a recording or transcript, and drafts the case study with the customer's words marked for approval.
Learns your voice
Give it three pieces you like and the words you never use. It keeps them in memory and writes to them, and corrections stick.
Repurposes what you have
One long post becomes a newsletter section, a LinkedIn draft and a landing page paragraph, each at the length it needs.
Keeps a content calendar
Tracks what's drafted, in review and live in a sheet, and tells you each Monday what's due.
Who hires an AI content writer.
A blog that actually ships
Posts drafted from your notes and voice memos, so publishing weekly doesn't wait for a free afternoon.
More drafts, same editor
First drafts on time, so the team's hours go into editing and ideas.
One voice per client
Each client's examples and rules kept apart, so every draft sounds like the client it's for.
Customer stories from calls
Case study drafts from the call itself, with quotes marked for the customer to approve.
Thought pieces from your notes
Rough notes and voice memos turned into posts that read like you wrote them.
The calendar kept honest
What's in draft, in review and live, tracked in one sheet with a Monday note.
Set up in three steps.
Say what the job is
Describe the role in a sentence when you sign up, or tell the agent in the chat. It writes its own brief, which you can read and change any time.
Connect the apps it needs
One click for most apps. Each one can be Full, Ask first or Read-only, for every agent in the workspace.
Link your phone, or don't
Scan a code and it's in your iMessage or WhatsApp. Or keep it in the app, Slack and email. Hand it the first job in the same message.
Nothing goes out without your yes.
Nothing goes out without your yes
Anything that can't be undone, and any message to another person, waits for your OK. Approve with a 👍 in the chat, or set a role to full autonomy once you trust it.
Read-only is a real lock
Make any app read-only and the agent can look but never change a thing. It applies to every agent in the workspace, from their next run.
Every step on the record
Each run shows what it read, what it did and what it sent, step by step, in the Activity tab. Corrections you make stick.
What it won't do.
Won't pretend
If it couldn't confirm something, it leaves it out and says so. A number without a source doesn't go in a message.
Won't go around you
It never messages anyone on your behalf unless you asked, never spends money, and never makes a judgement call about money on its own.
Won't read what isn't shared
Teammates' agents work only through the apps the workspace shares. Your inbox and your personal apps stay under your own login.
Three ways to get a post written
| Task | Writing it yourself | An AI writing app | An AI content writer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Research | Tabs open all afternoon | What it already knows | Searches the web and reads your own notes and pages |
| Your voice | Yours, when you have time | A tone setting | Learned from your examples, kept in memory |
| Case studies | Book the call, take notes, write | Paste in a transcript | It joins the call and drafts from it |
| Where the draft lands | Your doc | Copied out of the app | A Google Doc link in your thread |
| Edits | Your evening | Start a new prompt | "Shorter intro" and the same link updates |
| Where you ask | Your laptop | Its web page | iMessage, WhatsApp, Slack or email |
Things to ask your AI content writer.

You get: A Google Doc with the draft, headings, the sources it used linked, and two title options.
- 02
"here's a voice note with my thoughts on hiring, turn it into a linkedin post"
You get: A draft post in your voice from the voice note, for you to edit and post.
- 03

You get: A newsletter draft built from your launch notes in Slack and Notion, with the links in place.
- 04

"These three posts are what good looks like. Remember them."

Frequently asked questions.
Where do I talk to it?
iMessage, WhatsApp, Slack, email or the web app. Send a topic, a link, a voice note or a file, and the draft comes back as a link in the same thread.
Does it publish for me?
Not unless you tell it to. Drafts arrive as documents and a person publishes. If you ask it to post to a connected app, that waits for your OK first.
How does it learn our voice?
From the examples you give it and the corrections you make. It keeps a style note in its memory that you can read and edit in the Brain tab.
Does it make things up?
It researches on the web and links what it used. If it couldn't confirm a fact or a number, it leaves it out and tells you, rather than guessing.
Can it use customer quotes?
Yes, from a call it joined or a recording or transcript you send. It marks each quote so the customer can approve it before anything goes live.
What won't it do?
It won't publish or email anyone without your say-so, won't invent a quote, and won't state a figure it couldn't source.
Can my team use it too?
Yes. Everyone in your workspace gets their own agent. Shared apps are connected once for the team; personal apps like your inbox stay under your own login.
What does it cost?
Every workspace starts with 300 free credits. You add a card at sign-up and nothing is charged until you run low; then it's $25 for 200 credits, with no subscription. A quick reply is about 5 credits and a typical run under 20; plans start at $99 a month.
