The short version

Cicada gives every person their own agents instead of one shared bot, and those agents work together across the team: a coordinator and specialists for each person, shared business know-how, and agents that check with each other. They reach you on iMessage, WhatsApp, Slack and email, call businesses and join meetings. Viktor is one shared AI employee for a Slack or Teams workspace.

Built for a team

A team of agents for a team of people.

Viktor is one AI employee the whole workspace shares. Cicada gives every person their own agents, and they work together.

Agents for every person

Each person in your workspace gets their own agents. The apps the team shares are connected once; personal ones, like your inbox, stay under your own login.

A coordinator and specialists

A big job is split between specialists that work at the same time, and you get one answer back from the agent you asked.

Agents that work together

Teammates' agents know what each other covers, use each other's fresh figures and check with each other through the apps you share, never through anyone's private notes.

Know-how the whole team shares

What one agent learns about the business, every agent in the workspace knows, and a skill one agent proves is shared with the rest.

Slack-first, or wherever you talk

Viktor is built around the company chat: one AI employee in your Slack or Teams workspace that everyone shares. Cicada is in Slack too, but it's also the agent you text from your phone, the one in the WhatsApp group with your warehouse, and the one that answers an email. If your team isn't all in one chat tool, that matters.

Your logins stay yours

In Viktor the whole workspace shares one AI employee and its memory. In Cicada the apps your team shares are connected once for everyone, and personal ones, like your inbox, stay under your own login: teammates' agents never read them.

Calls and meetings

Cicada calls suppliers, venues and support lines in a natural voice and texts you the outcome, and it joins your calls as a notetaker. We couldn't find either in Viktor; it works with phone and notetaker apps as integrations instead.

Where Cicada is stronger

  • Every person on the team gets their own agents, and they work together.
  • A coordinator splits big jobs between specialists that work at the same time.
  • What one agent learns about the business, every agent in the workspace knows.
  • You text it on iMessage or WhatsApp, one-to-one or in a group.
  • It makes real phone calls for you and joins Meet, Zoom, Teams and Webex calls.
  • Your personal apps stay under your own login, never shared with teammates' agents.

Choose Cicada if you want agents for every person that work together across texts, WhatsApp, Slack and phone calls, join meetings and report back where you are.

Where Viktor fits

  • SAML SSO and EU data hosting on its Enterprise plan.
  • A larger claimed catalog (9,800+ tools) and permissions set per tool.
  • A skills marketplace, hosted apps (Spaces) and a public API.

Viktor may suit you if you want a single shared AI employee that everyone in one team chat works with.

Questions

Cicada vs Viktor, answered.

Is Cicada a Viktor alternative?

Yes, if you want more than one shared bot: Cicada gives every person their own agents that work together, works over iMessage and WhatsApp as well as Slack, makes phone calls and joins meetings. If you want one shared AI employee for the whole company chat, that is what Viktor is built for.

Does Viktor work on iMessage or WhatsApp?

Not that we could find, as of October 2026: you talk to Viktor in Slack, Teams, its web chat or by email. WhatsApp appears in its catalog as an integration, not as a way to talk to Viktor.

Which has more integrations?

Viktor claims 9,800+ tools; Cicada connects 1,000+ apps plus any MCP server, and lists what it can do in each on its integrations pages. For most teams the question is whether your handful of apps is covered; check both.
