Who promised what, by when. Tracked in the group.
Deadlines get set in group chats and forgotten in group chats. Cicada notices when someone is given a date or promises one, reminds them in the group if it passes, and tells you, or emails them, if there's still nothing.
300 free credits to start. Live in two minutes.
Deadlines that don't get lost in the scroll.
Notices dates as they're set
"By Friday", "tomorrow noon", "within the hour". When a deadline is given to someone or promised in the group, it's noted with the person and the time.
One reminder, in the group
Shortly after a deadline passes with nothing from that person, it tags them in the group once. No nagging on repeat.
Then it tells you
If there's still nothing a few hours later, it lets you know, or emails the person from your own inbox if that's what you asked for.
A reply counts
Any message from that person in the group afterwards counts as their answer, so nobody is chased for something they already replied to.
Ask what's open
"What's still open this week?" gets the list of what it's watching: who, what and when.
More than English
It picks up deadlines written in English and several other languages, including Portuguese, Spanish, French, German and Indonesian.
Set up in minutes, in plain English.
Add it to the group
Link your phone, then add Cicada's WhatsApp or iMessage number to the group.
Set deadlines the normal way
Write "Tom, logo files by Wednesday 3pm" as you would anyway. No commands, no forms.
Choose what happens on a miss
By default it reminds in the group, then tells you. Ask it to email the person instead, or to wait longer first.
Questions, answered.
Whose deadlines does it track?
Deadlines you set for someone in the group, and promises members make with a time attached in a group you're active in. Your own plans, and messages with no time in them, aren't tracked.
Will it nag people?
No. It posts one reminder in the group after a deadline passes, at most three a day in any one group, and stands down as soon as the person replies.
What if they still don't answer?
A few hours later it tells you, or, if you've asked it to, emails the person from your own inbox. You choose how long it waits.
Can I turn it off?
Yes. It's on for every agent to start with. Tell your agent to stop following up in groups, or to change how it does it, and it will.
Does it work in iMessage groups?
Yes, in WhatsApp and iMessage groups both. Add Cicada's number to the group and it starts noticing deadlines from then on.
What does it cost?
Every workspace starts with 300 free credits. You add a card at sign-up and nothing is charged until you run low; then it's $25 for 200 credits, automatically, with no subscription. Credits meter the work agents actually do, and plans start at $99 a month.
