Invoices chased, without the awkward emails.

Cicada checks what's overdue in your invoicing app or invoice sheet, writes the reminder from your own inbox, and sends it when you say so. When the client replies or the invoice shows as paid, you hear about it by text.

Three invoices are past due: Pemberton Dental R18,500 (21 days), Okoro Builders R6,200 (9 days), Marigold Clinic R24,000 (4 days). Reminders are drafted in your Gmail, a firmer one for Pemberton since it's their second.

What it does

Get paid without doing the chasing.

Knows what's overdue

Reads your invoices from your invoicing app, a Google Sheet or the invoice emails in your inbox, and works out what's late and by how long.

Reminders from your address

Each reminder is drafted in your own inbox, polite the first time and firmer later, with the invoice number and amount checked against the source.

You say send

Nothing goes to a client until you OK it in the thread. Or let routine first reminders go on their own and keep approval for the rest.

On a schedule

"Every Monday at 9, tell me what's overdue" becomes a weekly message that arrives on the minute.

Watches for the answer

When a client replies or an invoice shows as paid, it tells you and takes it off next week's list.

Promises in a group count

If a client promises a payment date in a WhatsApp or iMessage group you're active in, it notes it and reminds them in the group if the date passes.

How it works

Set up in minutes, in plain English.

  1. Connect where invoices live

Your invoicing app, the sheet you track invoices in, or just your inbox. Read-only is fine for the invoicing app.

  2. Connect your email

Gmail or Outlook, so reminders come from you, not from a bot address.

  3. Ask for the weekly check

"Every Monday at 9, tell me what's overdue and draft the reminders."

Questions

Questions, answered.

Will it email my clients on its own?

Only if you allow it. By default every reminder waits for your OK in the thread, and it always sends from your own connected inbox.

Where does it find my invoices?

In the invoicing app you connect, such as Zoho Invoice, in a Google Sheet or Excel file you track invoices in, or in the invoice emails and PDFs in your inbox.

Does it change anything in my accounting?

Not unless you let it. Set the app to read-only and it can look at invoices and payments but never change them.

What tone does it use?

Polite and plain by default. Tell it once to be warmer, shorter or firmer and it remembers for next time.

Does it decide who gets chased?

No. It shows you what's overdue and drafts the reminders; you decide what goes. Decisions about money, like writing off an invoice or offering a discount, stay with you.

What does it cost?

Every workspace starts with 300 free credits. You add a card at sign-up and nothing is charged until you run low; then it's $25 for 200 credits, automatically, with no subscription. Credits meter the work agents actually do, and plans start at $99 a month.
