Daily work

A morning brief that's ready before you are.

Tell Cicada once what you want to know each morning. At the time you set, it reads your calendar, inbox and the apps you connect, and texts you a short brief: what's on, what needs you, and the numbers you'd otherwise go and look up.

What it does

What you'd check first thing, in one message.

On the minute

It starts early enough to be finished, and arrives at the time you set, every day or weekdays only.

From your own apps

Calendar, inbox, store, CRM, accounting, spreadsheets: whatever you connect, read fresh each morning.

Short on purpose

What's on, what needs a decision, and the few numbers you track. Not a dashboard squeezed into a text.

Numbers you can check

Every figure comes from what it read in your apps that morning, and comparisons say what they're compared with.

Reply to act

Answer in the thread, "send the reply" or "move the 4pm", and it does it right there.

Change it by asking

"Add the weather." "Drop the meetings." "Make it 7:30 on Mondays." Say so and the next brief changes.

How it works

Set up in minutes, in plain English.

  1. Connect what it should read

Calendar and inbox to start, then your store, CRM or sheets.

  2. Ask for it once

"Every weekday at 8, text me the day: meetings, what needs me, yesterday's orders."

  3. Tune it in the thread

Reply with what to add or drop. It remembers.

Questions

Questions, answered.

Where does the brief arrive?

iMessage, WhatsApp, Slack or email, whichever you pick, at the time you set.

Can it brief my whole team?

Yes. Ask it to post a team version in a Slack channel or a WhatsApp group. Each person can also have their own agent with their own brief.

What can it include?

Anything it can read in the apps you connect, such as meetings, emails, orders, deals, tickets, invoices or a spreadsheet, plus things from the web like the weather or news about a client.

What if a number looks wrong?

Figures are checked against what it read before the brief goes out, and anything it couldn't confirm is left out, with a note saying so. Ask "where's that from?" and it tells you.

Can it be in my language?

Yes. It writes in your language, and Cicada is open to sign up in any country.

What does it cost?

Every workspace starts with 300 free credits. You add a card at sign-up and nothing is charged until you run low; then it's $25 for 200 credits, automatically, with no subscription. Credits meter the work agents actually do, and plans start at $99 a month.
